me and my family came here when we were on our santee trip, it was 2 minutes away (biking) and it was really nice to get cool places so close to us! the food was good and nice and i would 100 percent pay that price any day to get those donuts. they were so packed with flavor and just really made my day. Unfortunately, the place does kind of smell like cigarette smoke? Usually bugs me but I can deal with it.. but overall the tables and floors are neat and it's overall clean!

Mary's never disappoints. Today we got raised crumb (I think one of their most popular), maple bar, some of the filled pops. They were great. Even if the line seems long they have enough employees to move people through quickly. It's a cute spot w room to stay and eat if you would like.
I always recommend this San Diego staple and treasure! The donuts are always fresh and the service is always served with a smile - maybe even with a little sample!
The line was out the door, it's that good! I saw the long line and was convinced to grab a donut. As a self-proclaimed donut snob who grew up working in my family's Cambodian donut shop, I'd say I know a thing or two about good donuts. I tried their blueberry cake donut, and it was great! Moist, with a perfect crumble that melted in my mouth with each bite, it was pure pleasure. One of my favorite donuts is the maple buttermilk bar. Mary's version had a crispy, crunchy exterior and a slightly less moist interior. While it wasn't my favorite out the two, it was still good, and I could tell they use high-quality ingredients. All in all, their donuts are solid! Mary's might just become part of my weekly routine for some fresh, satisfying donuts.
Delicious donuts! Had to try them for myself after my friends were raving about them. It's definitely a busy little donut shop tucked away in a strip mall. You can't miss it though because the line is out the door. They're open 24 hours and they have THE best apple fritters that are crispy along the edges and soft in the center. Their buttermilk donuts were good as well and it seems that their ham and cheese croissants are quite popular as well. Their prices are fair and their employees are both friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend
The staff at Mary's donuts is extremely nice and you get a family vibe as you enter the store. Definitely a wide variety of options available from your standard donuts to a few unique flavors. All the doughnuts were fresh/good and the staff continued to restock the display case when I was there. I would say Rose donuts is still my favorite, but if I'm in Santee, I would come back to Mary's.
Came here on a weeknight... there were a few other customers coming n going. Clean and casual, kind lady behind the counter was so sweet. Hehe. The donuts are classic and tasted fresh. So many to choose from, even at 8pm on a weeknight. We purchased a box, mixed selection, and they kept well enough for a couple days. Definitely a local spot to check out if in the area.
